The podis flat cable system is suitable for apartment building parking garages (HOAs/condominiums), as well as parking facilities at offices, airports, and shopping centres. With its IP65 protection rating, the system is designed for a wide range of applications.

Benefits
The Wieland podis flat cable system is a modular solution for decentralized power distribution. The flat cable is supplied by a single conventional cable from the main distribution board. Each EV charging point is connected via a tap-off module, eliminating the need for a dedicated cable to each charging point or the use of costly and limited sub-distribution boards.
In addition to making it easy to add or remove charging points, the podis flat cable system offers several other advantages.
The core flat cable infrastructure only needs to be installed once, reducing installation time by an average of 66% compared to conventional cabling systems. Expanding the installation is up to 88% faster, while using 66% less material, resulting in significant cost savings. As a result, the Wieland podis flat cable system is, on average, a more cost-effective solution than a centralized system with conventional cabling.
